INTERNATIONAL HOUSE
Founded and built in 1924 by John D. Rockefeller Jr. and the Cleveland Dodge family, International House is a residential community of 700 graduate students and interns studying or working at more that 100 New York institutions and representing 100 countries ( including the U.S. ) each year. Devoted to promoting intercultural understanding through daily programs and leadership training, "I House" has been home to over 65,000 alumni including numerous international leaders and such prominent individuals as Leontyne Price and I.M. Pei. Information is available in the lobby at 500 Riverside Drive from 9 to 5.
